Alhaja was born from the union of two sisters from another life: María and Irene.
Alhaja, which comes from Arabic and means ‘jewel’ or ‘precious ornament’, finds its essence in nature, history, traditions and folklore of ancient cultures with a clear connection to its Spanish roots.
They incorporate cultured pearls into their designs, creating a union between the classic and the contemporary, as well as crystals and semi-precious stones that accompany the wearer, providing the same protective energy that our ancestors sought. More than 90% of the collection, plated in 3 microns of 18-carat gold or made in 925 sterling silver, is produced in factories and workshops in Spain, thus ensuring the authenticity and quality craftsmanship that defines us.
