Group Alain Broekaert (GAB) was founded in 1986, and from day one, we have been dedicated to bringing the latest fashion trends to the Benelux region. Also for more than 20 years GAB was the official distributor and retailer of Tommy Hilfiger & Calvin Klein in the BELUX market. Its unique product and brands mix and the strategic location of its showrooms in the Brussels triangle ensured that GAB quickly grew to become an important player in retail and wholesale at fashion level.
We are honored to be the official distributor for several renowned fashion brands within the mid to high segment, including names that resonate with sophistication and style: Scotch & Soda, Pepe Jeans, Love Stories, Karl Lagerfeld, CLARKS, to name just a few.

Today, GAB boasts a portfolio that is a testament to our enduring commitment to fashion. We represent 38 prestigious brands, each embodying a unique essence and style. Our portfolio has grown to include more than 500 wholesale clients who trust us to bring the latest fashion to their stores.
In addition to our wholesale partnerships, GAB has also ventured into the retail realm, with approximately 30 of our own retail channels. This diversification reflects our adaptability and commitment to staying at the forefront of the fashion industry.

The Fashion industry is going through an important evolution. Our end consumers are shopping more responsible than ever. The future of our planet is key and also the conditions of where and how the products are made is crucial for the customers decision to buy or not.
In 1986, GAB Fashion Agency embarked on a journey that would redefine fashion representation. With a vision for greatness and a passion for the industry, GAB was born.
Two years later, in 1988, GAB made a bold move by bringing the iconic Tommy Hilfiger brand to the Belgian and Luxembourg markets. This was just the beginning of our commitment to excellence.
As the new millennium unfolded, GAB proudly added Scotch & Soda to its list of distinguished clients. A brand known for its unique style and personality, Scotch & Soda found its home at GAB.
GAB continued its impressive growth in 2001, partnering with the renowned British brand Hackett. Classic and refined, Hackett became a valued member of our GAB family.
Strellson, the epitome of modern men’s fashion, joined GAB in 2002. This partnership marked another milestone in our dedication to style and sophistication.
In 2012, GAB Fashion Agency fell in love with Love Stories. The brand’s romantic and playful lingerie captured our hearts, making it a cherished part of our portfolio.
The year 2013 brought an iconic figure into our family. Karl Lagerfeld, a true fashion legend, became a new client of GAB.
GAB Fashion Agency sold PVH and the Calvin Klein brand in 2017. It was a testament to our dedication to the world of fashion.
In 2018, the renowned brand JOOP! joined GAB Fashion Agency. The brand’s modern, elegant style perfectly complemented our growing client base.
Dockers, a name synonymous with casual sophistication, became a new client in 2020. GAB’s family of brands continued to expand and diversify.
In 2022, GAB Fashion Agency welcomed Ecoalf, a brand dedicated to sustainability and innovation, into our fold. Together, we took a step toward a more eco-conscious fashion future.
2023 marked a significant year for GAB as we expanded our reach by taking over S&S in France and Italy. This move solidified our presence in the European fashion landscape.
